Update on Madame Ky's kitchen project (or How to Bring Peace to the World One Person at a Time) For the back story on this blog, click here to listen to my TEDx Talk. In 2017, I was on a second Journey of Healing and Reconciliation to Vietnam with Ed Tick and Soldier's Heart ( SoldiersHeart.net ). While I was there I reconnected with my friend Le Ky at her home in Cu Chi. Le Ky had been very kind to me on my visit to Vietnam in 2016. She helped me with the healing of my invisible combat wound, When I asked her how she was doing, she pointed out that she was very concerned about the state of her kitchen, which was created from found materials. Mrs. Ky and my friend Lo, who served as an interpreter from the US Army during the war. I decided to raise the money to replace the old kitchen with a new one.
